Violas can be pruned back by up to half their size if they are getting long, drooping or falling over. Regularly pruning violas every month by removing 1-2 inches will help to keep them compact, remove finished flowers and encourage new growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Violas are a tough plant that will grow back after trimming.
