These beads are non-toxic but keep in mind that if you do use them for play or to \u201cwater\u201d your lawn, they will likely be around for a long time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water beads are made out of super-absorbent polymers that are hydrophilic, which means they love taking in water. When exposed to water, water beads can expand up to 10 times their size.
