I hope you enjoy reading this blog about living an eco friendly life with your family. I will be bringing tips and tricks about reducing waste, organic gardening, reducing power use and ways to have a lighter footprint on the planet.
I am a mum of 2, and have a busy house, (and a dog). We have recently moved to the east coast of Australia and are working on renovating and landscaping a tiny townhouse with a small urban backyard. I have been growing trees, vegetables, herbs and even chickens on properties from very small to a hobby farm. My latest project will be turning this townhouse garden into a productive, relaxing space for our family. As I work on projects I will update you on the progress and let you know what worked and what didn’t to help you out on your garden and eco projects at home.
Eco Friendly Living with your Family
I have been moving my family over to ways of living that create less waste, particularly from the kitchen with a house full of kids (and a dog), it is easy to create waste, particularly plastic that gets thrown away. Over the last 4 years we have been making changes to reduce this and find better ways to live without throwing so much away.
I have been growing organic gardens for over 25 years. We have moved and landscaped 5 houses now and each time I have learnt more and more about easy ways to create a beautiful, budget friendly garden that kids and dogs enjoy. I will share these tips and projects that I am working on along the way.
